My artworks for the show
A few weeks ago I saw this image of Giulio Romano, “The assembly of gods around the throne of Jupiter” and I thought what a mess humanity must have gotten into to summon all those gods, and immediately I imagined them discussing that disease that was killing humans that no god had ever been able to see, they feared that it would also cause chaos on Olympus, The discussion became violent as none of the gods offered a solution, it was something unknown, impossible to smell, see, hear or touch, they blamed each other too until Hephaestus (insecure, distant, lonely god) convinced everyone to move away from this world, to remain all isolated on Olympus, separated from each other until Chronos decided the time to return.
